I purchased the Spring 1990 Box Set even though I had some hesitation at first. I'm so glad I pulled the trigger as it's quickly becoming my favorite Box Set they've released thus far. It is true that all the shows are available online in stellar sound quality, but the sound quality of this release blows everything else away. The multi-track aspects really shine. When doing the final mixing/mastering Jeffrey Norman did an especially good job of utilizing the crowd microphone to create an almost Matrix effect. This can be heard especially on the vocals and drums.

When I heard what dates were being released I initially thought the shows were haphazard in format. Why not just release the Copps and Nassau runs together I thought? But as I listen to the shows in order it really makes you feel like you're almost on tour. A fun exercise.

All the shows are wonderful - not a dud in the bunch. I highly recommend grabbing a copy if you like this era as it will make the music shine even brighter than before.
